Saw this Common House Gekko - Hemidactylus frenatus in a forested area and was hoping that this could be a Pseudogekko (False Gekkos are only found in the Philippines), unfortunately it is not. The spikes on its tail give it away.

The common house gecko, scientific name "Hemidactylus frenatus", is a native of Southeast Asia. It is also known as the Pacific house gecko, the Asian house gecko, or simply, the house lizard.
