  2. Today's Facebook post:

This dainty, white flower (Perezia magellanica) is a member of the aster family (Asteraceae). The plants grow up to 20 cm in height (~8 cm), have basal leaves, and solitary flowerheads. Although some species in the Perezia genus occur at sea level, most of the 30ish species in this genus grow in high-elevation mountain habitat. They are exclusively found in Argentina and Chile. {Spotted in Chilean Patagonia by Raphetnature} #JungleDragon #Chile #Pereziamagellanica

    1. Thanks for featuring my photo on facebook!

This day when I took a picture of this flower is very memorable. It was raining and I hesitated to take my camera (Samsung tablet) out of my backpack. I finally decided to take the photo quickly, at the risk of damaging my camera. After that day, I had charging problems, and I had to leave my camera for a week in the rice to dry!

I'm glad you like my photo, and that taking my camera out in the rain was worth it :)
