Description ²

• Flower: Purple odd shaped
• Leaves: coarse, densely hairy, heart-shaped with rounded tips, have long hollow stalks, up to 2 feet long and over a foot wide, becoming smaller towards the top of the stem
• Fruit/Seed: head of light brown seeds with hooks
• Height: 2-5 feet
• Flowering: July - September
• Habitat: fields, ditched, open woods, woodland edges, waste areas
• Other: Invasive
