    Bella bella

I don't think this is a true Graptopetalum bellum, but a hybrid. The flowers are to pale.

Avonia Quinaria - opened for just a few hours last night, and then it closed up forever. Until the other buds pop, of course.

Plectranthus Ernestii on it's way out, but still cute

The strange flowers of Euphorbia Globosa

    Teeny flowers of Euphorbia Platyclada

Haworthia with some bright Gasteria flowers in the front

    Another teeny flower, Delosperma sp.

Here are some pig blooms--many buds so there will be more pics if they bloom when I'm around.

    O polyacantha (I think)

My big stem O. basilaris--flowers are smaller than the regular sized basilaris.

    Echinocereus

This is not a succulent, but it is a desert plant. Foxtail lily--very stingy with blooms in my yard, but I love them. (Don't look at the weeds :-)

Inside my Hoyas are blooming, but I can't figure out how to get a good pic.

Only one of mine is blooming, not sure on the species though. This is my 1st bloom so it's pretty cool, and it's surprising how many flowers there are/will be.

    E. horridus.
    E. persistens.
    E. pulvinata. These lovelies bring a tear to my eye. Wait...I must have had sap on my finger!

Been super busy with many ongoing projects, but June has been pretty eventful for blooms. =)

    Crassula perfoliata var minor

    Adromischus cooperi

    Anacampseros telephiastrum variegata and retusa.

Three different Haworthia tessellata (hopefully you can see the differences).

Aloe descoingsii (new inflorescense after two already finished!)

    Pleiospilos simulans (second bloom)

    Haworthia mirabilis pilosa MBB7248

    Haworthia attenuata variegata

    Echeveria (elegans?)

Kevin, great show. I guess they are still indoors? Can't wait for you posting photos of new set up..Back to plants - they are all just gorgeous.

noto, I do not care much for opuntias - only because of the glochids - but those blooms are really nice. They look the size of a poppy blooms. Must be quite a show with all the colors. Are they all hardy?

  • ewwmayo

Rina - Thanks! They are still indoors. My new plant benches just need another 24 hours to cure before I can use them. They are currently drying out on my driveway.

Just picked up half the lumber and screws for my new greenhouse setup. Wish I had a van or truck like yours... no idea how I will fit 10' and 12' pieces in my sedan.

Beautiful blooms everyone! One of these says I will get around to posting some bloom photos...

    Kevin,

that last Echeveria looks like minima to me, but I can't quite grasp the scale... How wide is the rosette?

  • notolover

    Rina,

Yes, they are all hardy, the pink polyacanthas are really pretty right now. I pulled most of the weeds out of that bed

Some years the flowers are bigger, but all are noticeably smaller this year--the biggest ones are only about 2" across. We had a wetter winter and spring than usual so that seems odd to me. Maybe they are too over crowded.

I don't like glochids either or their spines when I'm trying to weed around them :-) I do like the flowers, though.

    Everyone's flowers are great!

    Rina--

Your Hoya looks like both of mine that bloom. I had one a long time ago that smelled very nice, but my current ones don't have any scent.

I promise that these are the last of my Opuntia flowers. I'm still waiting for one Echinocereus to bloom, but I'll spare you all the rest :-)

Haworthia silviae (now argenteo-maculosa) with a bloom stalk around 3ft long. Probably has another 6 inches left to grow for all the flowers still forming!

Dorstenia horwoodii and foetida (the smaller one) with smaller flowers similar to the ones found in habitat. The leaves grow more curly and like the habitat leaves when the plants are grown exposed to wind (in this case a 20" box fan lol)

So many unusual plant and flowers. Fascinating how diverse this group is.
My contribution is KT Event and Intrigue Echimopsis. The tree overhead has gotten too dense ad the flower production is minimal. >: [
