Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu was closed in both directions after a car struck three pedestrians and a fire hydrant during a film shoot, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The collision took place at 20310 PCH at 8 p.m., and the investigation is ongoing, the Los Angeles Sheriff Department said. Westbound lanes were reopened at 9:30 p.m., and all lanes had reopened by early Wednesday morning.
“One of the pedestrians was airlifted to a local hospital; the other two were transported to local hospitals,” Lt. Jennifer Seetoo told THR. Their conditions are not known.
The incident took place during a shoot for the psychological thriller Deadly Prank, which stars Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven), Tom Green and Erik Roberts.
