Eva Longoria made hearts skip a beat with her grand entrance at Harper’s Bazaar Spain’s 2023 Women of the Year Awards in Madrid on Wednesday.

For her first industry event since the SAG-AFTRA strike ended last week, the actor matched the red carpet in an asymmetric red gown by Zuhair Murad. The glamorous dress featured a high leg slit and was embellished with silver metallic spheres at the waist and shoulders. She finished the look with black Santoni platform heels, flower-shaped diamond earrings, and diamond and gold rings. Longoria wore full bronzy glam, feathery lashes, a glossy pink lip, a beige manicure, and a black pedicure; her hair was slicked back into a pretty, low bun.

The dress silhouette is a favorite of Longoria’s. In June, days before the actors strike began, she attended the premiere of her movie Flamin’ Hot, at the 2023 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, in a gown that also featured a very high leg slit. And over the summer, she enjoyed a beach day while looking radiant in a yellow bodycon dress, also with a slit.

Longoria was among the women honored at the annual event last night, held at Cine Callao in Madrid. Other honorees included Elle Macpherson and Alexa Chung.

Now that the SAG-AFTRA strike is finally over, Longoria is able to resume her work; currently, she is executive producing and starring in Apple TV+’s six-episode dramedy series Land of Women, based on Spanish journalist Sandra Barneda’s 2014 novel of the same name. The show is set to premiere next year.
