Buttercup Hill #1

Love You More

Rate this book
Jackson Corbett is a gorgeous single dad who doesn’t want complications at his family winery. And I’m the messy tornado who just offered to be his new nanny.

When I show up for a job interview in my pajamas and at the wrong time, my interviewer isn’t there, but Jackson is. He scowls and tells me to take a hike, insisting I don’t really want to work in the tasting room at Buttercup Hill Vineyards.

But I do. Years of sommelier courses and amateur wine-making have landed me here, at the best winery in Napa Valley. I can see that he’s overworked and stretched thin with parenting and a stressful job. So I make a deal with him—if I’m hired by the winery, I’ll work a second job as his nanny.

I can endure the world’s grouchiest dad and entertain his feisty seven-year-old if it means career advancement and paying off my debts.

There’s no risk of romantic entanglement because Jackson is a grade-A grump—albeit a hot and chiseled one—who’s been burned by love. The weight of the world sits on his muscular shoulders, and he spends most of his time worrying about the vineyard’s finances and looking at spreadsheets.

The last thing I’m concerned about is how he looks at me.

Until he does.

I catch him sneaking glances, and I can’t help staring right back. And noticing how sweet he is with his daughter, how his chilly façade is starting to melt, how he lingers longer than necessary when I’m around.

I find myself wanting to help him even if it means spending more time away from my younger sister, right when she needs me most. I’m terrified of letting down the only real family I have.

Falling for him could ruin my carefully-wrought plans and I love my status quo.

But what if I love him more?

Stacy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two sons, and a poorly-trained rescue dog who hoards socks. And she's serious about the Thanksgiving thing.

I don't think this book was bad, per se, but I thought it was just really... surface level? Like I'd gotten more than a *fifth* into the story and I wasn't invested in any of the characters. There was no compelling emotional wound or motivation from either of the leading characters and I just didn't really care whether or not they ended up together.

Life is too short to keep reading books you're not enjoying so ✌️

This is the first book in a new series by Stacy Travis, set in Californian wine country, where five siblings are running their family’s vineyard empire. It’s a grumpy/sunshine, single dad/nanny romance that is a sweet and easy read.

Jackson is the middle brother, the single dad to an adorable 7-year-old girl, and the accountant for the winery. He’s grumpy at the best of times, but while trying to do the best for his daughter, he’s also dealing with a pending financial crisis left behind by his unwell father. He’s doing his best to manage everything on his own, but he’s drowning in the stress of it all.

Ruby is obsessed with wine, and after years of study she is a wannabe sommelier, desperate for a job at the prestigious Buttercup Hill Vineyards. When she rocks up early for an interview, the first person she encounters is Jackson, and their first meeting doesn’t really go well. She recognises that he’s frazzled, and in attempt to help her chances of getting hired, she offers to be his nanny if she gets the job at the winery. Of course, Jackson reluctantly accepts, and of course, Ruby gets the job, which sets them up for lots of close proximity moments, lingering glances and clenching body parts. It’s not too long before the boss/employee line is crossed, Ruby becomes a part of the family, and feelings start to develop.

I’m at risk of falling so far, so fast for this woman, and there’s not a goddamn thing I can do about it. I’ll enjoy the entire way down, even if I land on my face.

This is a sweet and easy read. It’s a slow build up to actual romance, but it’s a gorgeously swoony, sexy and heartfelt relationship that develops. Jackson falls first and hardest, which is so sweet to see, and though they both have some personal things they’re dealing with which creates a bit of drama, there’s no real conflict in this one. They just have some things to figure out, which they achieve without creating unnecessary angst.

Jackson’s daughter, Fiona, is cutie, and I loved her relationship with both Ruby and her dad. There’s a good introduction to Jackson’s siblings, and the tense situation with their father. There are some questions left hanging about the running of the winery, and I’m looking forward to seeing those storylines explored more in future books.

I didn’t get as fully invested in this story as I would have liked, but I did enjoy it.

3 stars.

"Love You More" by Stacy Travis

"The sheer sight of Jackson Corbett in a navy blue suit, crisp white shirt, and lavender tie is the most decadent dessert I didn’t know I was craving. I’d blow every diet rule to take a bite."

"“I look at you and I forget to breathe. I forget everything. And it’s the one time in a day when I’m not bogged down by all the business shit, and I just feel…weightless.”

Spice: 🌶🌶

Jackson is a single dad running the family winery & never likes to ask for help. But when Ruby comes whirling in looking for a job & offers to be his nanny & work at the winery he can't say no. The mutual attraction can't be denied, but both Ruby & Jackson are carrying the weight of their families on their shoulders. Falling in love is not in either one of their plans, but love always shows up when you least expect it to.

Give me single daddy, grumpy, Jackson all day long because he had me swooning SO hard. 🥵😍 He was absolutely obsessed with Ruby from the first interaction & I loved every second of it. He had to try soooo hard not to be into her!

I loved Ruby's personality. She was witty & had so much passion. She is also absolutely selfless. Her relationship with her sister was one of my fave parts & they way it grew was so well done! 🥹

Ruby & Jackson complimented each other so well. It was so sweet & they supported each other so well. It really progressed beautifully.

Enter Fiona - gah I love single parent solely for the fact we always get a sweet, hilarious kid!! I just think it's always the cherry on top!! 🤗🥰 The relationship Fiona had with Ruby made my heart swell.

I really loved the family aspect coming from both sides. Jackson's family runs the winery with him & their relationships really filled my heart up. & I can't wait to watch them grow in the next books!!

Of course one of my fave things was the scenery - I LOVE books that take place in a winery. The vibes are just soo good! 🙌🙌 I felt like I was there walking the fields sipping on a good cab right with them! 🍷🍷

The characters had so much depth to them. I actually read this in about one sitting because it was that good!!
So well written, incredibly charming & a super sweet feel good romance! 🩷

Thank you again @stacytravisauthor for allowing me to be one of the first to get to be in this world & sending me the book in exchange for an honesy review!! 🧡

This is my first book by Stacy Travis and I just fell in love with Ruby and Jackson.

Ruby and Jackson met in a very funny circumstances - she is coming for an interview about a new job, but arriving too early, ending up with Jackson interviewing her for the role. There is definitely some tension between them that turns to full blown attraction. Later on when she is approved for the position, he hires her to be his daughter nanny.

The connection between Ruby and Fiona is really cute. They became friends straight away. Seeing his daughter getting attached so easily to Ruby, Jackson's adoration and attraction grows stronger and stronger every day.

As a MC, I loved Ruby. She was funny, sassy and the sun to Jackson's grumpiness. In my eyes she was his soulmate and I am so happy that Jackson's thought the same.

To me, this was definitely a slow burn, but they fell for each other right away. There were some obstacles in Jackson's mind, related to his worry about the family business - this was the reason he wasn't acting on his attraction to her. The tension was becoming unbearable every single time when he was seeing her with his daughter, especially when she started living near them for a time being.

I also loved all the love and sex scenes with them - my mind was blown away. Every single time they were together, there was so much kink and smut 🥵🥵🥵.

Ruby and Jackson was meant to be together.

Overall, I loved reading "Love you more".

This is a wonderful nanny x single dad romance, set in a small winery town. Ruby gets a job interview at a winery and that brings her one step closer to being a sommelier that she’s always wanted to be but after spending her years raising her sister the closest job she can find is at a winery as a bartender. But when she shows up to her interview at 6am instead of pm she runs into Jackson Corbett who is just trying to get through the day of owning a winery and raising a daughter by himself. So Ruby makes a deal, if she gets the job then he has to hire her as a nanny and give this grumpy single dad a break. But Jackson takes more than he’s bargained for when Ruby not only gets the job and becomes his nanny but becomes someone he can’t stop thinking about.

I devoured this book. I love love love a good grumpy sunshine and everything about these two gave me exactly what I needed. Jackson and Ruby balance each other and remind each other to slow down and enjoy life a little more. Ruby has spent her life raising her sister and taking care of her she doesn’t know how to do anything else until Jackson shows up and starts taking care of Ruby. While Ruby reminds Jackson to have a little bit more fun in life and to do more than work.

I love watching Rubys relationship with Fiona. She was a sweet and hilarious kid who kept both Ruby and Jackson on their toes. She added so much extra to this story. I love watching them mend the missing and broken pieces in each other and create their own family.

I can tell meeting all the other siblings that I’m going to enjoy each and every book in this series and be lost in the world of Buttercup Hill set in Napa Valley California. We have siblings banters, strong sibling relationships, amazing side characters, hilarious kid, and spice that comes out of nowhere once that slow burn tension hits.

Ruby gets an interview at a winery and is so excited to get her foot in the door since she wants to advance her career as a sommelier but alas she shows up at the complete wrong time and in her pajamas…. She is greeted by Jackson and well let’s just say the interview didn’t go exactly as planned but ruby needs this job not only to advance her career but to help provide for her sister so she comes back and tries again. Jackson loves her tenacity and decides to hire her with a bonus job as his nanny also to help her out.

This was so adorable and I LOVED that the plot kept you wanting to read as fast as possible to try and figure out what is going on with the winery’s financials. I will say I wish the relationship between Jackson + Ruby happened a little sooner I really wanted more of that (they didn’t kiss til almost 65% of the books I read) but this was a reallly short read and such a good book for anyone getting into romance and wanting something that is quick and has a good plot

Title: Love You More
Author: Stacy Travis
Release Date: November 16th

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Love You More” is the first book in the Buttercup Hill book series and it’s set in the Napa Valley wine country in California. This is the story of Jackson and Ruby. Jackson is one of five siblings who manages his father’s vineyard along with his brothers and sisters. Ruby’s dream is to become a sommelier so she interviews for a job at Jax’s vineyard. Little did she know that she was going to fall head over heels with her grumpy boss.

This is the first book I read by this author and now I’m left wanting more. When Stacy reached out to me and asked me to read and review this book before it’s published, she had me at “single dad-meets nanny”. Say no more ☺️

One of the most striking aspects of Stacy' writing is her ability to create characters that feel incredibly real and relatable. Both Ruby and Jax dealt with the pressure of looking after their siblings and I was able to relate to both of these characters through the entire story.

This book had me swooning, giggling like a hopeless romantic, laughing, and blushing. The banter, the anticipation, the small gestures. The SLOW BURN was burning! 🔥 I loved every single thing about this book. I love that there isn’t any miscommunication or third-act breakup. There is a very short (very short) separation of the main characters but for a very good reason and as a romance reader, I can appreciate the fact that the couple are not splitting up for nonsense reasons.

If you're a fan of contemporary romance filled with depth, passion, swoon worthy moments, Love You More is a must-read.

Thank you Stacy Travis for providing me with an Advance Readers Copy in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are of my own.

Love You More by @stacytravisauthor

4⭐️/5⭐️

Wow this BOOK! Obsessed with the beautiful winery vineyard setting, beautiful!
JACKSON IS A TAYLOR SWIFT FAN THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU READ THIS!!

Ruby comes looking for a job which Jackson says she’s “overqualified” for and also worried if it’s his brothers plan to get him a nanny. (Which he claims he does not need!)

Jackson “Jax” was obsessed from the first interaction with Ruby and I adored reading his POV. He had the world on his shoulders and walls up due to his ex. His main focus and priority, other than the vineyard, is his daughter. He is such a good dad and Fi is just so PRECIOUS!!

Ruby practically raised her sister and all she cares about is making sure she has everything she needs, even working two jobs! She never put herself first, always putting her sister first.

Jackson and Ruby are absolutely perfect together and when she left for a week it hurt reading that Jax was worried she left just like his ex..

This was my first read from Stacy and I LOVED this book so much!! Definitely reading more of her stuff!! Highly recommend Love You More!!!!

The best thing about taking a chance on a new to you author is falling in love with their storytelling abilities and I’m so happy I decided to try @stacytravisauthor latest! This is the first in a new series set in a vineyard in Napa Valley and beyond it being a gorgeous setting, I really enjoyed seeing the inner workings of a vineyard. The tropes really couldn’t get better for me, you get single parent, nanny/boss, small town, slow burn and grumpy/sunshine. I don’t always love a slow burn but I understood and appreciated it here. Jackson always has his daughter, Fiona’s best interests in mind so before exploring a relationship with Ruby he was hesitant. Ruby was such a firecracker and exactly the type of character I would want as a friend. She’s an amazing older sister and I loved her bond with Ella and both her and Jackson place so much importance on family. Jax and Ruby had such a sweet and sexy relationship and their relationship blossomed into something so beautiful by the end. The grand gesture at the end was SO good and had me 🥹 Overall I really enjoyed this and definitely will be reading the next book.

Love You More was so sweet! This was my first book by Stacy Travis and I can definitely say that it will not be my last!

I really enjoyed the two MCs! Ruby is so determined! She goes after what she wants and won’t take no for an answer. Jackson is a grumpy sweetheart! He is so stubborn and has a hard time asking for help. He’s also an amazing dad to the cutest kid ever! These two come from completely different worlds but are very similar. I liked how they helped each other realize that they don’t have to put so much pressure on themselves.

Jax & Ruby’s chemistry was there from the beginning but it only got stronger & stronger as the story went on. Their romance is a slow burn which I don’t always like but this one was good. I do wish there was a little less second guessing and more of them just being happy together.

There is side plot about the financial struggles of the winery and I was so invested in it. Not going to lie, I was trying to guess what the mysterious problem was. I’m hoping we get more answers to this in future books!

Tropes:
-single dad/nanny

Ok I really liked this one. I thought the chemistry was pretty good and it progressed well. But there were things in the book that were just…weird idk? There’s a mystery B line plot which I really like and adds to story, but the way the characters handle it doesn’t make sense. The dad’s an asshole who had given all his children roles in the company that go directly against their interests and skills. For instance, the main one is that this character is in charge of finances but the other brother is the math minded one. Once that dad gets Alzheimer’s, why not expand and switch roles? Also the main guy in this doesn’t want to share that their dad is keeping some secret and idk just seems strange that he’s so antisharing. Also the main girl suddenly becomes the one with commitment issues after being the one who wanted the relationship in the first place. Also, it’s a series but we don’t actually get anywhere with the mystery missing money. But like I said I actually think it’s one of the better romances I’ve read this year.

Wow, absolutely in love with Ruby and Jackson’s story!! Jackson helps run his family winery in the Napa Valley, while Ruby is looking to become a sommelier and even a winemaker, having started to make her own wine in her sister’s dorm room closet! Yep, Ruby currently lives with her sister at college while saving up for her own apartment.

Which is why Ruby shows up at 6am for an interview at the winery that’s really supposed to be at 6pm! And that’s how she first meets Jackson, the grumpy single dad of an adorable little girl!

That day, Ruby not only gets the job at the winery but she also talks Jackson into letting her nanny for him. And from the moment Jackson lays eyes on Ruby, there is just something that captivated him…

And after spending more and more time with Ruby and see how she loves his daughter, it becomes harder for him to deny his feelings!

This book was just amazing. Especially as someone that grew up in the Napa Valley and spent time living in Berkeley, the whole setting meant even that much more! This was the first book from Stacy that I’ve read but it certainly won’t be the last! My husbands ring is also engraved with the words “love you more” so it was great to see this come into play!

I was not ready for this book to end!

First time reader of Stacy Travis and it certainly will not be the last time. This was such a cute story. You got Ruby a hard-working fiery woman who stepped up to take care of her sister after the death of their parents and then there’s Jackson Grumpy-pants who owns a vinery with his family. A hard-working man that likes to be in control and hates asking for help and his adorable seven year old daughter Fiona. These characters were so easy to love. This is a MUST read oh and did I mention that Jackson seems to be a Taylor Swift fan 👀 if that doesn’t get you to read this book I don’t know what will.

Disclaimer: Although I received an ARC of this book, my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Love You More was a sizzling, small town romance that fit all my favorite tropes!!! Grumpy/Sunshine ✔️single dad ✔️

I would have read the book in one sitting but I had to work the next morning! Stacy introduces you to Buttercup Hill Vineyards, the successful family owned vineyard run by Jackson’s family. This may have been the first book but it has soooo much potential for love stories for the entire Corbett clan!

Jackson’s love interest and nanny Ruby was one of my favorite characters! I absolutely loved her high energy and spirit. She walked into Jackson’s life and shook things up for the better. Their instant sizzling chemistry could be felt through the page and her love and kindness for his daughter was the sweetest.

I thoroughly enjoyed Love You More and can’t wait for the next installment!!

This book was really cute! Jackson is a single dad who is struggling to balance his home and work life. Ruby aspires to be a sommelier and is desperate to get her foot in the door at a vineyard and make enough money to support her younger sister. When Ruby shows up at Jackson’s vineyard hoping to get a job as a tasting assistant, she ends up making a deal with Jackson to also work as his nanny part-time. Ruby and Jackson both feel a spark immediately but they both have too many responsibilities to give into the attraction. I love the single parent trope so I was very excited to read this book! I thought that Ruby and Jackson were adorable and I also loved the dynamic with Jackson’s daughter. I am excited to read the rest of the series!

Ruby is looking to get her foot in the door to become a sommelier- and when there is a position at Buttercup Hills Vineyard in the tasting room she is ready to take the opportunity. But when she shows up 12 hours early and runs into grumpy single dad Jackson and his daughter Fiona she also offers to become his nanny. Jackson is stressed about his family business’s finances, his dad’s deteriorating mental health, and the fact that his wife decided she didn’t want him or his daughter anymore. He doesn’t think he has the time or energy for a relationship, but Ruby is everything he didn’t know he needed.

This was a sweet, easy read! I loved that it was set at a Vineyard, and Stacy’s writing was so detailed and beautiful that I felt as if I was there! I loved the characters.
Ruby is super witty and determined, with a heart of gold. The way she has stepped up for her sister is incredibly sweet. Jackson comes across as grumpy, but seeing as he is dealing with problems at the vineyard and trying to find time as a single dad to take care of his daughter, it’s understandable. I loved seeing him slowly start to open up to Ruby and loved seeing Ruby and his daughter, Fiona, bond. I wish we could have found out where the money problem led (this is the first book in this series, so I’m determined to hopefully find out more as it’s finished). I found myself not being able to get completely drawn in- which is absolutely a me problem, reading lately has been rough- however, I really enjoyed this one and all of the feel good moments! 💗

“𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝  𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞. 𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.”

Stacy Travis's Love You More is a small-town romance centered around CFO Jackson Corbett and nanny Ruby.

Jax’s enamorment with Ruby from the beginning was everything, despite his grumpy attitude about her. Also, his little girl, Fiona, was adorable and I loved her—especially given how close she was with Ruby.

I thought it was really wholesome how Ruby made Jax and Fiona matching dishes because she knew it was meaningful got them. My heart literally melted in this scene.

The only thing that really bothered me, though, was Ruby referring to herself as Jax's "booty call" after learning that he had gone on a "date" and saying that even though she wasn't comfortable with it, she still slept with him that night.

All in all, I enjoyed reading this cute romance novel with the found family trope.

Love You More is a sweet story about a stressed out single dad who has built walls around his heart and the sassy woman who breaks them down.

Jackson not only is a single dad of the spunky Fiona, he also has the huge responsibility of finding where the money deficit is coming from in his family's winery. When Ruby shows up for a job interview, she quickly becomes so much more than just an employee. She helps Jax catch up on life and is a phenomenal role model and mother figure for Fiona. These two just get one another. The way they come together was perfect! I loved this slow burn, nanny romance!

- Single Dad/Nanny
- Vineyard
- Grumpy Sunshine
- Forced Prox

This is the first book in a new series. I loved the setting of a vineyard in Napa Valley. I found the details regarding the inner workings of a vineyard interesting as I’ve never been to one. Overall I thought this was a cute, lower angst read with some great tropes. There were a few things I wasn’t a huge fan of, like the fact that he called her Ginger (I personally have always disliked that nickname for characters just because they have red hair), the wine in the closet and how everything was handled with Ruby’s sister. I wish we would have gotten some answers to the financial issues the vineyard was having, but I get that going to be part of the connecting plot with the other siblings books.

Updated 12/12/23 audiobook review: I loved reading this story and the audiobook brought a whole new experience. Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue did a phenomenal job with the narration. They brought the perfect emotion, personality and voice to all the characters. Fantastic listen!!

Love You More is a stunning new series starter by Stacy Travis. I’ve ready every book of Stacy’s but this one is my most favorite.

Stacy descriptions of the vineyard and the surroundings is breathtaking and beautiful. These characters will steal your heart from the moment you start reading.

I adore Ruby..she is determined, passionate, quirky but a kind human who wants to find her place.

Jackson comes across as a grumpy guy but deep down is has a tender heart, is an amazing man and helps others without recognition.

These two are initially like oil and water..the banter and sass will have you laughing and smiling. As they spend time together their level of trust and respect increases along with their feelings for one another. The slow burn is painful (lol) but once they finally give into their feelings it’s a beautiful and passionate love story.

Looking forward to the other stories in this incredibly beautiful setting.

Jax has taken on the business side of running his family's vineyard. It's a complicated job, further complicated by his father's leaving the business in a mess with his Alzheimer's diagnosis. He knows he needs a nanny, but hates having to ask for help. Then a beautiful redhead stumbles into his life and offers to work at his vineyard and be his daughter's nanny. Sounds like a good idea, but he can't be attracted to his nanny, can he?

Ruby has the weight of the world on her shoulders, just like Jax. She desperately needs a job at his vineyard, in hopes of moving up to sommelier. She's raising her college student sister, and can't let her down. But coming to Jax's vineyard, becoming his nanny, and falling in love with his adorable daughter, it's all expanding her life in ways she never imagined. But she can't help but think that she needs to keep putting her sister first, even though it's to the detriment of her own happiness.

What a sweet, swoony story! I do so love a grumpy/sunshine situation, combined with a single dad? I'm so down for this. I absolutely adore this slow burn, sweet couple. Ruby and Jax had so much going on, had so many pressures on their shoulders, it's a wonder they allowed themselves to fall in love. Thank God they found each other, because little Fiona deserved a happy dad and a sweetheart of a mom. Buttercup Hill is shaping up to be a wonderful series, I can't wait for the next couple fall next.

AHHHHH! ok someone cue the butterflies in my tummy throughout this WHOLE book 🥺 Stacy Travis’s writing is not only fast paced and beautiful lot structured but so addicting and the ability to transport me into this book and connect with these characters on such a close and cozy way is absolutely amazing and i hope each and every one of you gets to experience it. First and foremost, let’s talk about Butter Cup Hills! OMG THE NAME?? THE DESCRIPTIONS?? A little fun fact: I LOVE the movie “Parent Trap” starring Lindsey Lohan. And if anyone can remember the movie, their father, Nick, owns a vineyard in you guessed it: Napa Valley, California! Having watched this movie from the age of 5 and being absolutely dying to go to Napa valley only made the setting of this book ten times more exciting. Stacy hit the scenery right on the nail, and would be the perfect description of what i would take in it i visited napa. The bustling atmosphere, the community of the vineyard was something so satisfying and perfectly structured that even though it wasn’t the main idea of this book, it still caught my attention regularly!

our fmc, Ruby, absolutely stole my heart from the minute she was introduced. Not only is she fiery, smart, relentless but she’s also, logical, tactful and the way she approaches any and every situation even made me feel comforted as if she was talking directly to me. The bond she carries with her sister is so unconditional and like i said before so comforting in its dynamic i felt like she naturally was exactly what jax needed in his life. Something sturdy, relaxed, and logical. After ruby gets turned down for a job at the winery she makes a deal with jax that if she surprisingly gets the job she’s looking for then she‘ll also be his nanny. When jax loses his half of the bet, the rest is history and the perfect mix of red and white wine perfectly (wellll almost) combined. 💌

our mmc, jackson is your perfect broody, moody, uptight SOFTIEEE! His love for his little girl fiona us what stole my heart first but his developing h love and protection for ruby had my little cheeks blushing and kicking my feet. The perfect man that despite his worries and struggles his biggest priority is to protect his baby girl, his family and the cute redhead he can’t get out of his head. His developing love for Ruby was something so innocent and adorable the way he kept doubting his feeling slowly the confirmation was certain. His struggles and wins with his family was also something that was so unique about this male character, I had never seen the family dynamic he had with his, and despite his anger and frustration the resilience is beautiful.

Overall, this book was such a cute romance refresher, Stacy’s writing is something so lovely and soft, yet so addicting I couldn’t put it down. The way it transported me into Ruby and Jax’s love story immediately made me feel like i was really there witnessing a love so grand and pure. Cheers to this book and to me finally being able to drink wine… next month 😂🥲
