Vaccinium corymbosum or the Blueberry is a deciduous shrub that likes boggy soils.
They grow as dense and upright thickets of upright stems that are covered in bright green leaves in the growing seasons.
Pendulous pinky white flowers are produced in clusters which mature to dark blue, plump berries which are sweet and juicy, being particularly delicious when eaten raw or in various cooked forms.
For best cropping it is advised to grow 2 different cultivars together.
They make a spectacular sight in atumn as the leaves turn to warm, bright colours before falling.
