Super Mario Bros. Movie Gets Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-Ray Release
The Super Mario Bros. film has drawn the ire of many gaming fans for its oddball take on one of the industry's most beloved and enduring properties. Now, the Super Mario Bros. film is receiving a new Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-Ray from UK retailer Zavvi.
Released in 1993, the film stars Bob Hoskins as Mario, John Leguizamo as Luigi, Dennis Hopper as King Koopa, and Samanta Mathis as Princess Daisy. This reissue on Blu-Ray features an hourlong documentary titled This Ain't No Video Game, as well as behind-the-scenes special features, an electronic press kit, and subtitles. It comes wrapped in a colorful steelbook, which you can check out below.
The Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-Ray is exclusive to Zavvi, and will set you back £15.99 (just under $20 plus shipping) when it releases on February 13. Just beware of region codes if you're hoping to actually watch this thing.
