  • A wonderful, bullate-leaved, rare Anthurium arisaemoides Madison belongs to the Dactyllophyllium Section and is a herbaceous evergreen plant. It has; terete or obtusely D-shaped or flattened petioles, and trisect leaf blades which are;light green to dark green and very conspicuously bullate and sub coriaceous.

    The genus name Anthurium is derived form Greek ánthos "flower" + ourá "tail" + New Latin -ium -ium . A very; literal translation of this would be 'flowering tail'.
