Description: Glosso (Glossostigma elatinoides) is a dense and vibrant green carpeting plant that looks particularly excellent in the foregound of any planted aquarium. This charming little plant features tiny, oval-shaped leaves. It is a fast-growing plant under optimal conditions, and it will carpet all high-light areas of the aquarium foreground. It is perfect for use as protective refuge for fry in a high-light aquarium where fish or invertebrates are breeding.

Aquascaping Pro Tip: Use high lighting and regular trimming to make a carpet, or let it grow tall and then "shape" it by trimming to the contours you desire. Extremely fun and versatile plant.

A 1:20 ratio bleach to water dip is generally recommended for most plants; so if you want to be sure your plant is 100% sterilized against unwanted pests or algae, please perform a bleach dip, and definitely always wash and rinse plants before introducing them to any new environment.
