The Coffea Arabica, also known as the coffee plant or coffee tree originates from Ethiopia and is still fairly unknown in the Netherlands. The plant can be placed in the windowsill or in another nice light spot in sight, because it may be seen. The Coffea grows as a full compact shrub with dark glossy leaves. In spring, the coffee plant develops beautiful white, sweet-smelling flowers. Next come the berries, which turn from green through yellow to red when ripe. The seeds press together more and more as they grow, giving them a characteristic shape.
Care
The Coffea Arabica is not difficult to care for. When the plant is occasionally sprayed with a plant sprayer, the leaves will shine beautifully. This way, it stays dust-free, allowing the plant to absorb light better for good growth. The coffee plant does not consume that much water. Keep the soil slightly moist and it will be fine. It is better to give it a little water several times than a lot at once.
Plant height
The plants have a height of 25 to 40 cm on delivery (measured incl. pot). The plants are delivered in pots with a diameter of 12cm.
