We offer free first-class shipping on nearly every item we have listed. Generally speaking, this is fine for most plants. If you are interested in plants that are somewhat sensitive, it is hot/cold outside, or you live far away from our location (we ship from Dallas, Texas for reference), please consider upgrading to priority mail. Although priority mail is a tad more ($7.99) it helps better ensure the safe arrival of your plants. If you do not see a priority mail upgrade option at checkout, we have a listing for you to purchase titled “Priority Mail Shipping Coverage” and has a photo that says, “shipping charge” that you can purchase for $7.99 in order to cover priority mail.

When will items ship?
Most items ship out in 1-3 business days excluding holidays when the post office is closed. If you would like to receive your item faster we recommend purchasing priority mail. Additionally, if you know it is very hot, cold, or you live far away, priority mail is your best option to help the plants arrive in the best condition possible. If there is severe weather, we will sometimes print the label but not ship your package until after the weather has passed in order to ensure safe arrival.

DOA (Dead On Arrival) Claims:
Please do NOT just open a return request or leave negative feedback, simply contact us. We are here to help and serve you. Often times plants will lose some leaves or melt back a bit in transit after being in a dark box for sometimes days on end and just need a little time to recover from their journey and grow in. It is our honor and privilege to serve you. We hope that you are satisfied with everything. If you are for any reason not satisfied, please let us know as we are here to help make this hobby easy and enjoyable!

Livestock Policy:
1. We guarantee live arrival only on all of our livestock. We DO NOT guarantee your success in growing/raising them. Once the plants arrive to you alive, it is out of our control if you have success or not in growing these plants as many factors go into having a successful planted tank such as lighting, co2, fertilizer, etc.

2. In the rare event livestock shows up dead, we must be notified in 24 hours. Keep in mind these plants just took the journey of their lifetime in a dark box for 2-4 days so they will take time to recover and be at their best again. Please Take clear photos of the dead plant and send it to us within 24 hours of receiving the item and once the item is validated by us we will send a replacement or refund minus the cost of shipping. Failure to comply with one or more of these policies will mean we can no longer cover you.

3. If you are concerned about extreme heat or cold, we highly recommend having the post office hold your mail for the estimated delivery day and or upgrading to priority mail just to be safe, remember, these are perishable items, plants can only last so long in transit. This is a completely free option which can be requested online via usps.com or in person at your local post office. This way, your package will remain indoors, protected, and out of the elements for you to pick up once the package has arrived.

3. We guarantee live arrival of all live stock. This means we assure that live stock will show up alive. We do not guarantee your success in keeping the livestock alive/healthy. Lots of outside factors that we cannot control go into the success or failure of keeping livestock healthy. We are here to help but are not liable after you have received the livestock alive.

Do your plants have snails/pests?
Snails are completely harmless, we try not to have snails/pests but it happens, this is nature. All plants have a risk of snails unless they are grown via tissue culture. We remove any visible snails/imperfections before shipment however to be 100% certain we suggest that you either do a 1:20 ratio bleach to water dip and/or wash the plants. The bleach dip solution is 1 part bleach, 20 parts water. Swish them around in the solution for about 5-10 seconds and then thoroughly rinse them off with clean freshwater before putting them in your aquarium/pond. Anytime you add something new to an aquarium it is important to rinse it off before adding just to be safe.

If it is 40 degrees F or below in your area you must add a heat pack to your order to be eligible to claim DOA. These are live perishable plants if you purchase them in the dead of winter without a heat pack they can and will freeze. We are not liable for cold damages for orders placed without a heat pack as that is unfair to us.

If it is 85 degrees F and above in your area you must add an ice pack to your order to be eligible to claim DOA. Again these are perishable plants, please mind your weather and add the necessary heating or cooling packs to keep them safe and happy :)

The majority of aquarium plants start their life grown out of the water on farms but we do our best to start the process of converting them to underwater aquatic growth for you. With that said, your plants may lose some leaves and melt back some while going through this process. This is completely normal.

Some plants are more sensitive than others. All this means is that certain plants will hold up better in shipping than others. While certain plants like Anubias or java fern can last a long time in shipping, sensitive stem plants can be more prone to losing some leaves or melting a little bit. Your plant is not dead if it loses some leaves in transit, it just needs a little time to recover and start growing again in your tank.

Our listed processing time on Etsy is 4-6 business days, however we ship orders out much quicker than that. Having a longer processing time listed allows us a little just in case time if there is ever any bad weather or plants that need a little recover time.

Holidays may affect the ship times due to facility closures and or packages potentially not moving so we may wait until after to ship your order to be safe.

We do our best to ship every order fast, but If you ever need an order super fast, simply message us and let us know. We can often times ship same day or next day provided you message us early enough in the day. We also offer a priority mail upgrade option to help the package arrive faster and spend less time in transit.

We offer free first class shipping on all items. First class mail generally takes 3-5 days to deliver. This method works well, however we encourage you to consider upgrading the shipping to priority mail if it extremely hot (above 80) or cold (below 50) in your area. Please keep in mind these are live perishable plants, if you leave them out they can perish. Even if they are not life out and there are freezing temps in your area, they can certainly freeze, so please be mindful of your weather. The best thing to do if you are concerned about weather is potentially upgrading the shipping so the plants spend as little time in transit as possible and or having your local post office hold your mail, you can request this in person or online.

Aquatic plants are wonderful for your fish, add a lovely look to any aquarium in addition to helping filter + oxygenate the water so adding live plants is a great choice.

Only a few things needed for great plant growth:
- A good light (preferably on a timer for 6-8 hours a day, your plants want consistent light and you don’t want lights on too long otherwise algae will start to grow, 6-8 hours a day is ideal)
- Good substrate (substrate = what you put the plants in at the bottom of your tank)
- A good nutrient source example: liquid fertilizer or root tabs. Liquid fertilizer is usually the go to, root tabs help as well.

Snails are a natural part of the environment and are inevitable when dealing with live aquatic plants. Snails DO NOT eat plants. They are completely harmless and beneficial to aquariums by cleaning up algae and leftover food, dead plants, etc. however if you wish to avoid possible snails, please consider purchasing tissue culture aquatic plants and/or cleaning and quarantining new plants very thoroughly prior to placing them in your aquarium.

A quick and easy solution to help avoid snails is a bleach dip. Get 1 part bleach, 20 parts water, and dip the plants for a quick 5-10 seconds then rinse them off with clean water. Keep in mind bleach can be harsh on plants so you don’t want to overdo it.
