Here is how we grade the quality of our specimens for this species :
Keep in mind it's a real dead bug, not an artificial product made in rubber or plastic. It's like diamond, real ones have imperfection and fake ones are perfect. Please keep that in minds when ordering, specificaly if it's your first time dealing with real dead insects, it's a taxidermy project, you will have to get some work done to get results. Please consult our Youtube channel to see how professionals works, it's not complicated. If you want to have no work to do, please consult our framed section.
A1 = As perfect as all reasonable expectations dictate
A1 / A1- = Flaws, but generally respectable, very close to A1. Sometimes only antennae damage or very small chip, still great quality at significant saving.
A- = Flaws, but generally still respectable. Sometimes only antennae damage
A2 = Second quality, like a big chips in the wings, not suitable for framing, but still ok if you want one for a school project or your personnal collection and you don't care about quality. Specimens of this quality can't be repair.
You want to start your own collection, or are you an artist who needs real insects for a project ?
We offer dried and papered specimens you can moisten a little bit at home to relax the articulation.
This way, you can place the legs, wings and antennae the way you want.

The photos and videos are taken with an iPhone 11 pro in front of a simple white background. We have two powerful LED spotlights for lighting. We try to take pictures from several angles to show all the details and color variations. On the other hand, our products are real dead insects and there is always variation between specimens. We always choose a specimen that we think is representative, but keep in mind that you are buying real dead insects here and you will receive a specimen that may have smalls variations from the example shown here. It's like when buying a cat or a dog, even within the same breed individuals will all be unique and slightly different from each other.
