Chloë Sevigny and Siniša Mačković have married for the second time in front of friends and family in Connecticut.
On Sunday, the actor and art gallery director said ‘I do’ in front of guests including Orange Is The New Black actor Natasha Lyonne and fashion designer Carol Lim.
For their most recent wedding Mačković wore a black tuxedo, while the bride wore numerous white dresses during the day designed by Jonathan Anderson for Loewe and Cad Wallader for Mugler, according to the Instagram account @amagazinecuratedby.
For the church ceremony Sevigny, styled by Haley Wollens, was dressed in a floor-length, off-white, sheer tulle Haute Couture dress designed by Glenn Martens for Jean Paul Gaultier, which featured exaggerated shoulder detailing. The bride wore her signature blonde hair pulled back into a tight, low chignon at the nape of her neck and carried a bunch of long-stem orchids.
She later added a small bunch of white flowers to her hair and changed into a floral embellished dress, which she decided to wear off-the-shoulder for the evening celebrations, with sheer sleeves.
Writer Derek Blasberg, who attended the event, shared several photos from the nuptials on Instagram.
‘Of course, Chloe Sevigny is the coolest girl in New York,’ he captioned the carousel of photos on Instagram ‘But did you know she's a top secret traditionalist too? She loves toiles, houndstooth, personalised stationery on heavy cardstock, worn-in cardigan sets, and etiquette lessons as much as the next New Englander.’
Blasberg noted that the most recent wedding included ‘ice sculptures, and a perfect, simple ceremony that mentioned her loyalty, his twinkly eyes, and both of their dance moves’.
‘It was touching and sweet and very cool and I hope it was OK that I took a monogrammed napkin home with me for posterity. Congrats to the happy couple and wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness, [sic]’ he concluded his post.
Mačković shared numerous images from the wedding on his Instagram Stories following the nuptials, including one of a ‘Just Married’ sign tied to the back of their wedding car, and another of the couple's two-year-old son Vanja dressed in his sweet wedding look.
Last year the bride revealed she and Mačković had married at the beginning of the pandemic at City Hall in New York City in March 2020, two months before welcoming their son.
‘Married on a Monday March 9th 2020 Happy one year anniversary my love💍, [sic]’ Sevigny captioned a photo of the couple on their paper anniversary.
For their first wedding the actor wore a figure-hugging black dress that showed off her baby bump, a white veil and black boots, while Mačković, who is the director of Karma Art Gallery in New York City, wore a monochrome ensemble.
Earlier this month Sevigny celebrated her bridal shower attended by Lyonne and writer and director Maryam L’Ange. During the event Sevigny wore several looks including a black and white lace-trimmed dress styled with Maison Margiela lace-up boots, and a sheer lace white mini dress with a veil and stockings.
Sevigny, we are not worth of such fashion greatness. Congratulations to the happy couple!
