Description
The Gold tetra is easily spotted by the gold scales that reflect the light back to your eyes. These fish like to be in a school of 8 or more and enjoy planted aquariums though this is not needed. They can be sexed by looking at the “hooks” and white tips on the males and the females are just a smaller version. These fish are omnivores so they will eat flake food as well as freeze dried bloodworms.
