James Blunt has been his usual brilliant self on Twitter to promote his new album The Afterlove.

He's shared a video of a James Blunt support group, which sees various people struggle to admit they listen to his music, until he pops up himself to say what everyone else is thinking.

"It's okay, Claire, we're all James Blunt fans here," he notes, before joining hands with the support group, despite Claire's resistance.

The advert ends with a cheeky sell: "If you've been affected by James Blunt, pre-order the new album The Afterlove now."

Blunt has also been carrying on his usual burns to anyone who dares to criticise him on Twitter, this time for someone who claimed that he would have been forgotten about if it wasn't for Twitter.

"And the most relevant you'll ever be is that one time James Blunt tweeted you," he joked.

Earlier this week, Blunt spoke on The One Show about working with Ed Sheeran on The Afterlove.

"I've worked with a guy you might have heard of? Ed Sheeran? We had a great trade. I was his ski instructor, I taught him how to ski. And at night he taught me how to write songs," he explained.

The Afterlove is out now. Don't be afraid to admit you like it, Blunt has got your back.
