The Oscar-winning filmmaker is well known for his inflammatory films, famously tackling gun culture in Bowling for Columbine and the Iraq War in Fahrenheit 9/11.

His next movie is titled Where to Invade Next?, and will debut in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
"We're not saying a lot about the film right now, for all the obvious reasons," he told fans on Periscope, joking: "Psyched to say hello to all my NSA friends, hey guys!"
The central thread of Where to Invade Next? will be an accusation that the US government is intent on "infinite war".
"[It's] this constant need to have an enemy ā where's the next enemy so we can keep the whole military industrial complex alive and keep the companies that make a lot of money from this in business," Moore explained.
Where to Invade Next? will be the director's first feature since the release of Capitalism: A Love Story in 2009.
