If you're heading to any celebration this Easter, there's nothing that excites the fam quite like a cake. Whether your family likes cheesecakes, layer cakes, or pound cakes, we've got options for you here. They're perfect for enjoying from Easter brunch 'til post-Easter dinner, and will add an extra sweet touch to your Sunday. These 68 cake ideas and recipes are sure to be the prettiest thing on your Easter table—second maybe only to spring flowers!

For Easter, we’re aiming at flavors that celebrate the bounty of spring fruits and veggies. Carrots, strawberries, pineapple, and the last of winter citrus are all represented here. For breakfast or brunch, you can’t go wrong serving a coffee or Bundt cake with fruity flavors, like our blueberry coffee cake, our raspberry almond pound cake, or our pink lemonade pound cake. Make them for Easter, then all season long.

For midday celebrations, we love an easy-to-throw-together cheesecake, poke cake, or upside-down cake. It's true, cheesecakes can be a little tricky when baking (be mindful of the water bath!), but we’re big fans of how once they’re done, all you’ve got to do is let them chill and you’re good to go. Alternatively, you can top them with fun decorations, like we did in our carrot patch cheesecake, our strawberry cheesecake, our Robin's Egg no-bake cheesecake, or our lemon blueberry mousse cake (bonus: they'll cover up any cracks!). Poke cakes and upside-down cakes—like our cinnamon roll poke cake, our pineapple upside-down cake, our tres leches cake, or our strawberry upside-down skillet cake—are even easier. They practically decorate themselves!

For a post-dinner showstopper, nothing impresses more than a layer cake. They do take a bit more effort (though you can almost always make them a day or two ahead), but are worth it for the oohs and ahhs they'll elicit when you bring them to the table. Check out our bunny cake, our strawberry crunch cake, our copycat Dairy Queen ice cream cake, or our Napoleon cake for ideas. Take inspiration from our recipes, but feel free to mix and match cakes and frostings—the flavor combinations really are endless!

Lemon-Blueberry Cheesecake

The recipe starts with our classic cheesecake, but gives it a fresh, fruity spin. To dial this classic combo way up, we fold fresh blueberries into the cheesecake and also make a blueberry topping to spoon over the dessert. While it may seem a bit extra, the topping concentrates the blueberry flavor and only takes a few minutes. The lemony zing to balance out our blueberries comes from a combo of lemon zest and lemon juice in the batter, plus some pretty lemon slices on top to complete our presentation.
