Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt on a coffee date (photos)
A Gizmodo tipster snaps a few shots of the Apple and Google CEOs chatting Friday afternoon at a table outside a Palo Alto cafe owned by a former Google chef.

Amid all the talk about Apple and Google's love affair gone sour, the companies' CEOs, Steve Jobs, left, and Eric Schmidt, were spotted by a Gizmodo tipster Friday afternoon on an apparent coffee date outside the Calafia Cafe and Market a Go Go in the Town and Country Village in Palo Alto, Calif.
Incidentally, that black item on the table is a menu, not an iPad, according to Gizmodo. And Calafia was opened in January 2009 by former Google chef Charlie Ayers.

What they're talking about, of course, we have no idea. The tipster, according to Gizmodo, overheard two lines by Jobs: "They're going to see it all eventually so who cares how they get it?" and "Let's go discuss this somewhere more private." (The latter was reportedly said after they noticed a crowd gathering.)
Jobs' Mercedes
Jobs' Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG was also spotted parked out front, according to Apple Insider's take on the photo.
