Fernando Zelaya is a Bronx, NY-based photographer, and bookmaker born in Tegucialpa, Honduras. Fernando moved to New York at the age of three where he has lived since. He received a BFA in Photography from St. John’s University in 2020 as well as a One Year Certificate in Creative Practices from the International Center of Photography. He is also the co-founder of the collaborative zine publishing project the ‘cademy. Fernando’s work deals with ideas of nostalgia, memory, forgetting, and loss, themes that then tie together the work in the book format.
