Mr. Steve Robert Ayers, age 90 of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday October 26th, 2021.
Mr. Ayers was born in Rockmart, Ga., on February 18th, 1931 to the late Steve Ayers Sr., and Delia Perrin Ayers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Ayers was a retired welder and attended Higher Praise Church of God.
Survivors include his companion of 31 years, Linda Slajer; three sons, Steve Ayers Jr., Donnie Adams, and Justin Adams; one daughter, Stephanie Ayers; one grandchild, Lily Ayers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 30th, 2021 at 2 PM at Higher Praise Church of God with Rev. Ron Branham officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday October 29th from 6 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home.
