This is definitely way better than the normal Bazant - at least it seems to be only in my opinion because people tend to diss it, regardless of the fact that it is brewed according to the original recipe from 1973.
This is as close to a real lezák as it can be - smooth, mild, creamy, not bad at all. Had this on tap in Banska Bystrica in Slovakia, would have it again. This one is quite okay.

Light amber body with one finger head. Taste is smooth and quite malty, leaving a delicate bitter sweet but slightly acrid aftertaste. Body is medium. Good not so pale lager that is better than their flagship 12 product.

I've only been able to find the 12° svetlé pivo Zlaty Bazant lager in Ontario, but I've enjoyed this retro variant during my visits to Bratislava since it was introduced in 2016, in draught, bottled, and canned forms. It's a deeper hue, has more body, and a more malty character than the standard hoppier Zlaty Bazant.
