HammerFall exploded into a 1990s metal scene that was starting to feel a little stale and washed up. Their debut album redefined classic heavy metal for a new generation and framed this group of Swedes as the new defenders of the genre. Other bands were to take metal in new directions, but HammerFall provide pure, unadulterated heavy metal from the heart. Horns up!
