Green Neon Tetra/span> Paracheirodon simulans
A neon of a different color, these cousins to the ever-popular neon tetra only grow to a bit over an inch, making them a more likely candidate for a nano sized aquarium. Silver bodied with a glowing, iridescent green stripe running the length of their bodies, they really shine in a dimly lit system, especially against a backdrop of aquarium plants. These fish will thrive in slightly acidic water, in groups of six or more with very peaceful tankmates.
