These tiny blooms are liberal self-sowers: they will drop their seeds and return year after year, true to their name!
Forget-Me-Not (Myosotis Alpestris Blue)
Your garden will never be the same! Start Forget-Me-Nots from seed to add a true blue to the early flower garden. This fairly low-growing perennial is often used as a ground cover or edging plant. Each spring the garden will have a few more charming blue blooms! Forget-Me-Nots prefer moist meadows and grassy slopes. You can find them occurring naturally in subalpine elevations up to the tundra.
These delightful little flowers feature deep blue petals that contrast with their white, yellow, or red centers. They bloom from late spring through summer, and are a must-have for the garden! Forget-Me-Nots are low-maintenance additions to the landscape. They only require fertilization once in the spring, and once in the fall if necessary. Try growing these plants in natural woody shaded areas, or plant near pods and other high-moisture regions.

How To Grow
These seeds should be directly sown outdoors into a prepared seedbed. Sow after all danger of frost has passed, press into the soil, and very lightly cover with fine soil.
Keep the seeds moist until germination, which should occur in 10-20 days. Once seedlings appear, they can be thinned to the strongest plant at a spacing of 9-12 inches apart.
Water these plants weekly. In cold climates, mulching Forget-Me-Nots in the fall will help them survive the winter. In milder climates, however, not winter protection is necessary. Other than this, no further care is needed.

Several seeds were planted, in this repurposed container, on Jan 29, covered with plastic wrap and set where warm. Germination rate 100%; see clusters of seedlings by the toothpick markers. Now to mist 3X day and let the sun do some work. Estimated outdoor planting in late May. This is way too early to start indoors (in northern WI) but I just couldn't wait. THANKS FOR THE SEEDS, OUTSIDE PRIDE. Well packaged order of 1000 seeds came in 2 5K packs, (discounted compared to buying a smaller quantity) The invoice also had a PROMO CODE to use on next order ! Does it get any better?
