  • SMELL:Originated in Peru and introduced in Europe more than 200 years ago, the odor profile is a warm delicate powdery floral with vanilla and marzipan notes and a trace of spicy licorice.
  • WATERING:In most areas, you should water plants every other day, most especially during droughts or dry spells and fertilize potted heliotropes once every two weeks with a liquid fertilizer for flowering plants.

The seeds arrived in a plain cellophane packet without any identification. No name, no planting instructions, and no way to know whether the seeds I ordered were the seeds that were sent.
