Product Description

Scullcap is a perennial, reaching 15 to 50cm high. It is native to Asia. Roots are rather thin. Stems are usually cespitose, with dark purple or brownish green surface. Leaves are usually opposite, with short petiole 1.5 to 3cm long. The flowers are borne on pedicels that have tiny, sharp bracteoles. The fruits are oblate and light brown. Scutellaria Barbata grows in moist and wet places, such as paddy fields.

Directions

Shake well before use. Take 20-30 drops, three times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal glycerites is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.

This product helps with insomnia issues. I do take Zanex at night but I also use two drops of this product and I sleep better. I have been able to reduce my nighttime Zanex use. Also if I wake up and cannot go back to sleep, this helps me go back to sleep. I am going to try to wean off of Zanex with using this and melatonin as well as other natural products like Snooze Right from the Vitamin Shop.

Be sure to rinse your mouth out after using and brush your teeth if using at night. It is sweet and you don’t want any dental issues if there is sugar in it.

great product to help with panic attacks or anxiety.....took about10 minutes toget into the bloodstream and notice difference....also used it on my son before he had his tooth pulled as he was so scared....it relaxed him so much he wasnt saying a word.....i actually even asked the dentist if we should proceed since he was SO calm- it actually scared me! use LESS on children....its a very safe herb....much safer than even valerian as far as side effects, but more doesnt mean better- i only needed 1/2 a dropper at atime for myself, though the directions say you can use 1-2 WHOLE droppers!
