Dorado fights are legendary – once hooked, they’ll shred line from your reel like an express train. Be prepared for an epic battle!
Gearing Up for the Challenge: Whether you choose the precision of fly fishing, the excitement of lure fishing, or the traditional approach of bait fishing, success depends on the right equipment. Dorado here can reach a staggering 30 pounds, so strong leaders and heavy-duty tackle are essential. We recommend 8-9 weight fly rods with sinking tip lines, and MH rods for casting and spinning lures with reinforced hardware for these aggressive fish.

Travel Plan
