Re: Today's Garden Photos
Nice, I have several Poterana as well now, smaller though. They don’t seem phased by rain or humidity in the least. Do you grow any dasylirion, Nolina, or Xanthorrhoea? I’ve read a few forms of Xanthorrhoea may be good for sub 15*F, although exact hardiness unverified.

Re: Today's Garden Photos
Thanks.
No Australian Grass Trees in my garden. It is certain that it gets too cold here. No reason to bother to try when Yucca linearifolia does so well.
I do grow two Dasylirions (berlandieri and wheeleri), and several Nolina (durangensis, greenei, lindheimeri, nelsonii).

And a few more photos from today, under overcast skies before the rains of Hurricane Delta arrive.
(hope our members in the coastal Gulf states are safe and well).

Many thanks, Paul.Paul S wrote:As usual, Mike, some lovely pictures of your beautifully curated plants.
Nothing quite so as intriguing as your garden, however, packed full as it is of Nature's architectural wonders.
One more for you - like the others, a compression shot where plants spread out across space in different beds are put together by selecting a particular viewing point for the camera.

Evening's light.
A pink cloud of Muhlenbergia capillaris, a shadowy stalk of Verbascum supporting a small spiderweb, and a Nolina durangensis dimly lit in the background.
