Condolences to and prayers for the family and friends of Hugh, or as he was known on the railroad, HLR. This man was a greatly loved friend by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our camaraderie at camp on our leases was unmatched with the fun times we had. He will be greatly missed. May he Rest In Peace. Here's an internet salute from a fellow Army comrade.

I am saddened to hear of Hubert’s passing. Thoughts and prayers are with the Roger family. This great guy was totally instrumental to my career with the Southern Pacific Railroad and for that I’m totally grateful. I could go on and on about how Hubert helped so many along the way. You will be truly missed my friend. It was an honor to have known you. R.I.P.
