CONSPECTUS OF THE VASCULAR PLANTS OF MONGOLIA (2014) Regional distribution We follow the division of Mongolia into 16 phytogeographical regions, which has been introduced by Grubov (1982) and later adopted by Gubanov (1996) for regionalization of the information of the occurrence of plant species in Mongolia. The phytogeographical regions are defined in Fig. 1. Figure 1.
