SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. - An arrest warrant was filed earlier this week for TV star Chris Hansen after he failed to appear in a Michigan courtroom on Thursday.

Shiawassee County Prosecuting Attorney Scott Koerner confirmed that a bench warrant was issued Thursday after Hansen failed to appear for a court hearing regarding footage Hansen obtained during a sting operation with the Shiawassee and Genessee County Sheriff's Department.

Koerner says Hansen failed to respond to a subpoena Thursday in court to present records related to the Shiawassee County Sting Operation that Hansen was involved in back in October.

Koerner tells Mid-Michigan NOW Hansen appeared before a judge Friday morning satisfying the warrant.

The prosecutor says Hansen has 14 days from today (July 2) to produce the unedited footage of the sting to the defense attorney for suspect Michael Lott in connection to the joint GHOST operation between Genesee and Shiawassee County.

If Hansen doesn't turn over the footage he could face another show cause conference and or could be held in contempt of court according to the prosecuting attorney's office.

Lott has waived his preliminary exam in district court and has been bound over to circuit court for trial.

Hansen posted on Instagram saying, "All matters in the Shiawassee County predator case resolved! Justice marches on.

Hansen's attorney Clint Perryman told Mid-Michigan said this was a case of miscommunication and that his client is happy to help in any way he can to bring justice in the case involving the GHOST operation.
