In the end of 2014 I visited Antarctica Dry Valleys region which I've been dreaming of for more than 10 years, since the very beginning of my scientific work. In the frame of this pilot project we've drilled three sets of boreholes in permafrost at different elevations with supposed age from ten thousand to ten million years. The next step is to find the most ancient permafrost on Earth. But Antarctica is not only about science. Its' landscapes are just breath-taking. Enjoy!
