Identification notes: Trees in full bloom attract bees with pale yellow, fragrant flowers and the foliage turns pale green to pale yellow in the fall. The tree has dense branching and its bark has shallow, vertical ridges.  Look for small heart shaped leaves with finely toothed edges.
