The Blue Hole, Belize, Caribbean
The Blue Hole located in Belize is one of the intriguing diving spots in the Caribbean and is a bug marine sinkhole. This huge ocean sinkhole is insanely deep with 300 m in diameter. One can find a variety of sharks here, such as blacktip tigers, nurse sharks, blue sharks, and many more. Towards the bottom of this hole, there are several rock formations taking place. Although the temperature remains desirable throughout the year, the best time to dive here is between April and June.

For years, Maldives has been considered one of the best scuba diving spots because of the unique Maaya Thila. Maaya Thila is an underwater Island with 80 m in diameter. This diving spot consists of all kinds of sea creatures. You will witness other marine animals, such as giant turtles, tuna, blue angelfish, parrotfish etc. Maaya Thila becomes a beautiful site at night. So, with the help of diving lights, you can go scuba diving at night too. January and April are considered the best time to dive here.
