Irrfan Khan gained immense applauds for his performance in
Hindi Medium. The
Saket Chaudhary directorial once again proved the actor’s mettle as a performer. While talking to Bombay Times, the director of the film shared a few lines in memory of one of the finest actors of Bollywood. He said, “Irrfan was a master of his craft, he made acting seem effortless. He’s gone too soon.” Further, Saket remembers how he was left mighty impressed by Irrfan during one of the scenes.
He says, “I remember the speech he gave in the climax of Hindi Medium. Speeches are always difficult to perform and we had been struggling till the very end to make it work. However, after he performed the speech, the artistes who were playing parents, burst into applause. We were happy, but when he saw it again during the edit, he said that it wasn’t working. He admitted that it may have been because he performed for the crowd, not for the camera. Such was his level of understanding of his craft, his dedication and his humility, which made him truly great.
