PLANTS OF PYRAMID TREE - LAGUNARIA PATERSONIA

Medium sized tree, with pink summer flowers similar to Hibiscus.  Excellent street tree. Singular tree in a garden. Seedpods used in floral arrangements.

Evergreen up to 10-14m with a dense crown and pyramidal shape. Leaves lanceoladas dark green adults while young, are clearer. Solitary flowers of pink color and as a fruit a capsule that contains the seeds. Hardy, prefers full sun and moist soils. Native to Australia.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture.
