The Aloe Hercules is a perennial Aloe Tree. Aloe barberae and Aloe dichotoma are its mother plants. A moderate grower, this hybrid matures faster than the Aloe barberae. This succulent sports a showy, thick trunk (pictured above). Blooming season typically occurs in late spring to early summer. Yellowish-red to salmon pink flowers emerge in a grand show on spikes (pictured above). Pollinators are birds.

Happily, water needs are low (drought tolerant). Perfect candidate for xeriscaping, mediterranean gardens and rockeries. Hardy down to 25 degrees F. Easily cultivated in the ground or in containers as long as soil is well draining. Full sun required. Tolerates poor soil containing spines, thorns, rocks etc...Makes a stunning and striking focal point to any garden or patio.
