形態特徵

Shrubs, parasitic on branches of Taxillus sp. Branches glabrous, with conspicuous lenticels.
Leaves opposite, coriaceous, ovate to oblong, 3–4 cm long, 1–2 cm broad, apex round to obtuse, base obtuse to cuneate, petioles 6–7 mm long, veins obscure, margins entire. Inflorescences spikes, 2–3 cm long, 3–5 clustered in the axils of leaves.
Flowers bisexual, sessile, bracts broadly triangular, ca. 0.3 mm long; perianth erect; petals 6, valvate, glabrous, linear-lanceolate, ca. 2.5 mm long, 0.5 mm broad; stamens 6, filaments filiform, 1 mm long, adnate to petal at base, glabrous; anthers minute, 0.5 mm long, 2-celled, connectives broad, apex obtuse; ovary inferior, glabrous; style filiform, 2.5 mm long; stigma pyramid shaped.
Fruits elongate-ellipsoid, 5mm long, 3 mm in diam..

分布

台灣 : Parasitic on the branches of Taxillus rhododendricolus (Hayata) Chiu, T. lonicerifolius (Hayata) Chiu and T. liquidambaricolus (Hayata) Chiu; found only at median altitudes in the central part of the island.
