Southern Sugar Maple leaf detail.
Also called Acer floridanum, I purchased this tree in a 5 gallon pot from Buchanan's Native Plants in early February 2018. I planted it on February 17th.
On April 22nd 2018, the Southern Sugar Maple was growing vigorously. The leaves seemed a bit crinkled though, much like the Mexican Sugar Maple, and the Bigtooth Maple, and unlike the Red Maple with its hard smooth leaves.
Some yellow autumn color in early December 2018.
