Flowers: Fragrant white flowers; mid winter to spring; needle-like light green leaves.

Uses: Attractive hedge in bloom; screen, accent, slopes, near oak trees.

Wildlife: Nectar and seeds for butterflies, birds. Deer resistant.

Soil: Grows in a variety of soils from clay loams to sands; prefers acid to neutral density well-drained.

Water: Low to medium; periodic deep soakings are best. Avoid lawns. Drought tolerant.

Sun: Full sun to some shade.

Pruning: Prune after flowering to control shape and stimulate further bloom.

Notes: Like other Proteas, Grevilleas are sensitive to phosphorous. Another attractive grevillea is G. curviloba x G. phanerophlebia ‘White Wings’. Hardy to 20° F.
