M82 on the left, also known as the cigar galaxy due to its shape, M82 is a starburst galaxy. M81 on the right also known as Bode galaxy, M81 is classified as a grand spiral galaxy 12 million lightyears away, in the constellation Ursa Major. Taken January 11-2021 through March 3-2021, 10.6 hours of integrations times 4-minutes subs ISO-1250, taken with a orion 8 inch newtonian astrograph, unmod canon 60d, Orion starshoot autoguider on 60mm guide scope, all on a celestron axv mount, processed with Deep sky stacker, Pixlnisght, photoshop.
