Comments

The contrasts are there in colour but all groups are planted more or less in the same line from back to front. All is also 1 height and the leafshapes are also not high in contrast.

Nice effort. Feels freshly trimmed just before photography. Needs aging. Too many species. Some nutritional imbalances from plants being driven too hard - a common American affliction it appears. There's a reason why top NBAT tanks run at much lower speeds and metabolism. Do not use 2 or more Eriocaulon species next to each other...same for Limno rugosa next to Acmella and Tonina next to Syngonanthus. They are too similar to each other - reduces contrast. Short stems of midground or background plants do not make convincing foreground plants.
