SURPRISE! NEW FISH! All your guesses were pretty close but these are Indostomus crocodilus (Crocodile Toothpick). They are.. amazing. This is FULL SIZE. I have two males and three females, they’re in my 10 gallon.

This was the first time they’ve been at my work EVER. That means in 15 years we’ve never had them. And at my old job, we didn’t get them in the 10 years I worked there. They’ve been doing well at work for the last couple of months. I could not pass them up, no way.

They DO eat some frozen but have been eating microfauna at work, mainly. I’m hatching baby brine for them currently, in the mean time they’ll be offered frozen callanus and daphnia.

I can’t get over them. I stared at them every day at work and doted on them and just OBSESSED over them. And now they’re finally here and I am SO paranoid I’m going to kill them. Honestly it’s just the food thing that makes them difficult.
