School holidays mean extra helpers in the garden
I had a wonderful dream where a tap-dancing cactus came to me and said “make me into an anime girl”
Aloe erinacea over summer dormancy. It’s since greened up and is putting out new growth but I think most desert plants look their best when they’re *just* surviving.
It turns out the perfect habitat outside of habitat for me too is the greenhouse.
