Cheiridopsis acuminata
Cheiridopsis is a genus in the Ice Plant Family (Aizoaceae), found in the winter-rainfall area of western South Africa. Like other species, Cheiridopsis acuminata is well adapted to dry conditions, since it is native to the arid northwest corner of the country. Yellow is the most common flower color in the genus, but in this case the flowers are so pale as to be almost white.
