Media Watch, the show that everyone loves to watch – except when they’re the topic – is rumoured to be for the chop since its presenter, Monica Attard, announced her departure.

Attard, a Gold Walkley winner with a long and distinguished career, mainly in radio, will be finishing up in two months. Although an unidentified ABC spokeswoman told the SMH that ,“Media Watch would continue next year with a different presenter”, it is rumoured that the show is “under review” by ABC managing director, Mark Scott, who has openly criticised the program in recent times.
