Species Overview

Marsh mermaidweed is a frequent native in marshes, shallow ponds and canals nearly throughout Florida (Wunderlin, 2003).

Proserpinaca palustris is found in most of the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada (Kartesz, 1999).
