Yesterday our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared April to be the ‘Month of Lights’ at the Global Communion Service.
The man of God announced this month of April as the ‘Month of Lights’ to the live audience who had joined him for the service. The announcement was met with shouts of joy and excitement.
“This is a special month and the man of God admonished us to pray for our country and be watchful,” he said.
“This month, we are going to light up the darkness. We are ablaze for God, shining and burning everywhere. We are shining lights and we are changing our world with words of power on our lips,” Pastor Chris continued to preach, “Pray for your country and the nations of the world and do it watchfully.”
Quoting from Matthew 5:16 he said: “So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”
The April Global communion service with our Man of God, Pastor Chris kicked off with an exposé on the significance of Easter, our expectations were built up in celebrating the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Man of God, enjoining us to be a part of the yearlong unending praise program which kicked off 27th of March 2023 then taught on the importance of praising God according to His pattern and the power it wields for us and for the nations. Showing us how the Lord Jesus had a testimony of John the Baptist as a burning and shining light (Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 8:15-20, 2 Peter 1:16-19), we were stirred to hold on the more sure word of prophecy, which is the word of God until the day dawns; admonishing us to be ablaze and on fire for the Lord, emitting the energy of God and declaring to us the month of April, as the ‘Month of Lights’.
This month, the Man of God exhorted us to be ablaze for the Lord as saints in the Kingdom and he charged us especially to pray for our nation and the nations of the world with much attention because it’s the set time for God’s favor. What a glorious and enrapturing moment it was at the April 2023 Global Communion service with our Man of God, Pastor Chris.
Pray-A-Thon gives praise to God
Today’s Pray-a-Thon mentioned the wonderful Global Communion Service with gratitude to the Lord and Pastor Chris for a beautiful time of fellowship.
All things are possible to you when you use your faith. Psalms 72:17-19 says, ‘His name shall endure forever… and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen.
Expounding on the message from Pastor Chris at the Global Communion Service, today’s Pray-A-thon focused on the message to pray specifically for the country where you live, that the gospel will have a free course and be glorified.
Recounting last April
Last year the Man of God called the month of April the ‘Month for Watching and Praying’, he explained the significance and the need to watch and pray at this time. Again this year with the sure Word of prophecy safely rooted in our hearts and on our lips, we have the capacity to effect changes. This is the constant message from Pastor Chris throughout all Global Days of Prayer and the power of our words of Prayer.
